SignalScout Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026

SignalScout (“the app”) is published by Silverwood LLC (“we”). We designed the app to need as little of your data as possible. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with information.

The short version

We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information. There are no user accounts, no analytics or advertising SDKs, and no tracking. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

Location

If you grant location permission, the app uses your device location only to center the map and show distances to nearby towers. Your location is processed on your device and is never transmitted to us or to any third party. You can use the app without granting location access.

Map and tower data requests

To show towers, the app requests public data from third-party services based on the geographic area you are viewing (a map bounding box). These requests contain only map coordinates — never your identity, account, or personal information:

These third parties have their own privacy practices, governed by their respective policies.

Content you create

Towers you add, favorites you save, and your settings are stored locally on your device using iOS storage. They are not uploaded to us. Deleting the app removes this data.

Purchases

SignalScout Pro purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple’s handling of purchase data is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
